Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Hustle Marathon is made and operated by UpForce ("we"), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea.

2. What the app is

You set a goal, register the things you intend to finish, and check them off. Each finished task adds a fixed distance to a running total. The total does not go backwards: a day you do nothing adds nothing, and takes nothing away.

The app is a record of what you did. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice, and it does not promise any particular outcome in your life or work.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the app. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings › Delete my account. Deletion is permanent and removes your record. It does not by itself cancel a subscription — see section 6.

4. What we ask of you

• Do not post content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexual, or that impersonates someone.
• Do not post other people's private information.
• Do not use scripts or automation to inflate your distance or to disrupt the service.
• Do not probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the app or the systems behind it.

The community board has report and block controls on every post and comment. We review reports and may remove content or suspend an account that breaches the above. Distance earned by automation or by tampering may be reset.

5. The Sponsor subscription

Sponsor is an optional monthly auto-renewing subscription. Every feature that records your progress is free and stays free. Sponsor exists so that people who want to keep the app running can.

What a sponsor receives is cosmetic only:

• A sponsor mark on share cards and beside your name on the community board
• Share-card and sticker customisation, including a transparent sticker export
• The streak counter on Home, in History and on the share card

It grants no advantage. No extra distance, no ranking boost, no extra tasks or slots. The leaderboards only ever reflect what people actually did.

The price, the billing period, and the fact that it renews automatically are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews for the same period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

6. Cancelling, and what happens then

Apple and Google are the sellers of record for the subscription. We never see or hold your card details. Cancellation and billing are handled in their systems, not ours.

The app also links straight to these screens from the Sponsor page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the benefits continue until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the store as well.

7. Withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the Republic of Korea, the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce gives you the right to withdraw from a purchase within 7 days. We do not contract out of that right.

Because Apple and Google are the sellers of record, refunds are requested from and decided by them:

If a store declines a request you believe is valid, write to upforce0@gmail.com with the purchase date and the store account used. We will take it up with the store on your behalf. We cannot issue the refund ourselves, because we never received the payment directly — but we will not leave you to argue alone.

8. Your record

Your goals, tasks, reflections, and distance are yours. We store them so the app can show them back to you, and we delete them when you delete your account. We do not sell them.

Content you post on the community board is visible to other members who have access to it. If you delete your account, that content is removed with it.

9. Ownership

The app, its text, design, logos, and the Hustle Marathon and UpForce marks belong to UpForce. Share cards and stickers the app generates are yours to post anywhere. Copying the app's content or branding as your own is not allowed.

10. Availability, warranty, and liability

We do not warrant that the app will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice before withdrawing something a subscription pays for.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits our liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law — including your rights as a consumer.

11. Personal data

How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page. For changes that disadvantage you or affect the subscription, we will give notice in the app at least 7 days before they take effect — 30 days where the law requires it. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel and stop using the app.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
